  1. At least put the cosmetic items in a pack to download for free.

  2. If only that $60 a year we pay for PS+ had any effect on actual game servers.

  3. Even if you haven’t played Gravity Rush, for some people it is a special thing, and this is a potential mascot of Sony that’s just being thrown under the bus. Please, join your fellow Sony fans and help them to lessen the damage that’s done.

  4. Would I be missing any major gameplay or content without those servers? Because I’m planning on buying GR 1 and 2 at some point but I got A LOT of games to finish before then. I’d hate to go in just to find out that its a far lesser experience than it could’ve been months before.

  5. It’s so sad Sony considers this game a failure when then didn’t even give it half the marketing of GoW or Horizion.

What a great game truly mistreated

  6. People keep talking about the cosmetic items being missed, but honestly the fact that the world of Gravity Rush 2 was immense and seeing those treasure hunts appear randomly within all the connected parts/continents/areas was a nice break and add-on to the main gameplay. To remove that feature would pretty much lose some of the immersive feeling into the world.

That and photos. We need more Kat/Raven photos.

  7. I’d rather have them put in a way to quickly farm gems. Been playing this game and finding out you have to do hours of mindless repetitive grinding to max out skills and get the platinum trophy is a smack in the face to consumers. I don’t even know why they bothered putting upgrades in the game if you can’t afford a majority of them even after beating everything in the game.

  8. Didn’t the game just release? How is it going down so soon? And are there trophies related to the online or is it all offline

  9. One was fun just waiting for spare time and two to get cheap before picking it up

  10. I wanted to play 1 and 2 but the physical price was crazy high

  11. Then there’s time though. Like yeah I coulda got it cheap but it would just sit there for months and months

  12. I’m doing my part. I’ve got the game, but have no time to play it right now, so I don’t wanna miss any content when I get to it.

  13. Start a patreon, offer to pay for the servers to be kept online.

  14. I started playing GR2 the other day in large part because of this. Feels very much the same as the first one so far. Still, I’d appreciate it if they did do something to prevent this issue.

  15. I was actually thinking about getting this game eventually because I was recommended it by a friend. Why does the servers shutting down matter? Isn’t this mainly a single player experience? Also why is this game so special to some people? Just curious.

  16. Nice, I’ll be sure to do that. Love this game, keep it up!

  17. I saw GR 1 on sale during the E3 sale but I didn’t buy it because I saw in the description that the severs were cut off so I didn’t buy it 🤦🏿‍♂️

  18. Sony….Listening to fans….Yeah its gone forever til they remaster it and make us rebuy it.

  19. The grind for dusty tokens since I got this game a month or two ago has ruined my ability to enjoy the story. Since I only have a limited time to play, I click through all the graphic novel bits without bothering to read any of them.

As a rule of thumb, I think developers should stop putting online only content in games or offer a patch that makes it all available offline when the servers shutdown.
